Amazon has quietly discounted a whole cauldron-full of Harry Potter Lego kits ahead of Prime Day — here are 12 magical sets to snap up now

Lego’s Harry Potter range has some of my very favorite builds. This franchise really lends itself to the kind of charming hidden details and quirks that Lego does so well. So I was excited to see, when browsing Amazon ahead of the Prime Day sales that are due to kick off in a couple of weeks, that there are already a whole load of big price drops on Harry Potter Lego sets.

There’s a Herbology greenhouse that opens up to reveal a multitude of weird and wonderful plants, including grumpy, potted mandrakes, with 33% off list price. There’s a Knight Bus with three decks to explore and a Monster Book of Monsters that will speed at you, chomping its teeth, both with over 30% off. My favorite of the discounted sets might be this Main Hogwarts Tower set that’s themed around the first book — there are flying keys to catch, creeping Devil’s Snare to dodge, and minifig-sized Wizarding Chess pieces to battle.
