Amazon’s Prime Day Kindle deals are already live – here are the 9 best early discounts you can shop today

The second Amazon Prime Day sale of 2025 is set to take place next Tuesday and Wednesday, but the retailer is already teasing prospective shoppers with early deals. As you’d expect, own-brand devices are taking center stage, and you can already get some superb deals on Kindle ereaders.

Today’s early Prime Day Kindle deals include record-low prices on the excellent Kindle Scribe, Paperwhite, and even the popular Kids variants. I’ve rounded up the best early deals in both the US and UK below.

Highlights include the high-end Scribe on sale for $299 (was $399) / £269 (was £379), Kindle Kids models starting at $94 (was $129) / £84 (was £114), and the excellent Colorsoft for a record-low price of £169 (was £239) in the UK.

Discounts on the standard Kindle and Paperwhite are currently absent from Amazon’s early Prime Day deals. The retailer is likely waiting for next week’s big sale to include offers on these popular models. With that said, today’s early deals include record-low prices on Essentials and Signature edition bundles, which are fantastic if you’re looking to pair up your device with handy accessories.
