The Wolf King, Lauren Palphreyman’s bestselling romantasy book series about a captive princess who is kidnapped by a brooding werewolf alpha and pulled into a brutal war. The project brings STARZ back together with Tanya Saracho (Vida), who is set to serve as showrunner and executive producer on the drama series. Palphreyman is attached as an executive producer. STARZ has optioned all three installments in the series, including The Wolf King, The Night Prince, and the forthcoming release The Wolf Queen.
The Wolf King adaptation follows Aurora after she is taken from a world that viewed her as a decorative pawn, leading her to discover her own fierce strength in the expansive romantasy. Trapped inside a deadly love triangle, she is drawn into a conflict between humanity and her feral captors, making her choose whether she is a prize to be claimed or the ruler of her destiny.
More to come…
