Black Friday Garmin watch deals are officially live – including best-ever discounts on this year’s ‘perfect’ Fenix 8 smartwatch

The Black Friday Garmin watch deals have arrived early, and they’re already full of surprises. If you’re looking for a discounted adventure watch in the UK or US this year, there’s plenty of choice, including brand-new watches only released this year.

The Garmin Fenix 8, for example, has its price slashed by $250 at Best Buy in the US, and gets a £120 price cut at Very in the UK. This is a five-star fitness watch, and as a Garmin expert who’s tested pretty much every modern watch the company’s put out, I wasn’t expecting any significant discounts on it this year.

There are plenty of other great deals available, including outstanding half-price discounts on my old favorite, the Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2), as well as cheaper watches for budget-conscious fitness enthusiasts. Your first port of call should be our guide to the best Garmin watches, but the main way to choose is probably price. If you’re an active person that likes to get outside, any of the Garmin watches above will be great for you. However, where you are in your fitness journey will dictate which watch you should get.

If you’re a jogger, cyclist or gym-goer just starting out, the Garmin Forerunner 55, Garmin Vivoactive series or Garmin Forerunner 165 is going to be ideal for you. These watches contain some smart features, but don’t bog you down with metrics you don’t need or use, and typically use cheaper materials like plastics over metals.

If you’re a more experienced runner, cyclist or triathlete looking for a watch to give you an edge, you’re likely going to want a heavy-duty fitness tool like the Garmin Epix or Fenix series. Hikers and campers will enjoy these watches too, with the Garmin Instinct 3 as a cheaper alternative.
