It’s time for Donnie Wahlberg to get back to work. CBS has confirmed that the Blue Bloods spin-off series, Boston Blue, is officially set to return this fall on October 9. Accompanying the premiere date was a new promo designed to emphasize all the things that have made the procedural franchise a household name. Expect more trouble to follow Danny Reagan and his partner Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green) within the Boston Police Department and more quality time with family when the show returns to screens on Fridays.
