Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc was one of the greatest anime returns of 2025, amassing an impressive box office run and revitalizing the Chainsaw Man fandom immensely. Crunchyroll Confirms Official Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Streaming Release Date

Crunchyroll confirms via press release that the new Chainsaw Man Reze Arc movie will join the streaming service exclusively beginning on April 30, 2026.

Those not among the excited attendees pushing its $174.2 million box office cume will get to see it for the first time as the anime headlines the start of Crunchyroll’s Ani-May event. Largely seen as an improvement while also leading into the Assassins Arc of the anime, it’s mandatory viewing for fans.

Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc is a vital, canonical continuation of the anime, and a significant moment in Denji’s personal development, with its success revitalizing the fandom craving more installments.

Chainsaw Man’s Anime Has Never Been in a Better Place

Despite being adapted by arguably the hottest anime studio of the present, MAPPA, Chainsaw Man stagnated a bit with its anime prospects following the release of season 1. It was a wildly inventive first installment, with impressive variety in its music, cinematic references, and varied ending credit sequences, but fans had to wait nearly three years for more.

Now, not only has the Reze Arc come and gone, but the Assassins Arc is set to be adapted as it brings the story even deeper into the wild world of Primal Fears and one hell of a freaky Santa Claus.

20 Best Chainsaw Man Quotes

From “Fire-Punch” to “Goodbye, Eri”, Tatsuki Fujimoto certainly has a way with words. That’s especially true for his magnum opus, Chainsaw Man.

Thus, the anime’s production appears willing to go the distance, with potential to reach the explosive finale of Part 1, where Denji faces the power of the Gun Devil and his deadliest manipulator.
