Christie Brinkley, Daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook Discuss Social Media

Sailor Brinkley Cook is modeling social media behavior for her mom. 

While Christie Brinkley has offered modeling advice to her 27-year-old daughter—whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Cook—she’s also gotten plenty of tips in return on how to navigate her social accounts.

“I’m teaching her TikTok basically,” Sailor exclusively shared with E! News at the New York Gala screening of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary April 14. “Social media, TikTok, posting, being more on Instagram.”

The influencer shared that she helps her mom “make most of her videos” and “help her with a lot of her socials,” but she doesn’t try to get too involved. 

“I like to leave her be because I think there’s something so beautiful about the way that she interacts with social media,” Sailor explained in their joint interview. “It’s so cute and innocent, so I try not to intervene too much.”

And while Christie—also mom to Alexa Ray, 40, with ex Billy Joel, and Jack, 30, with ex Richard Taubman—certainly has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to helping Sailor find her way in the world of modeling, she is also careful about being too overbearing.
