Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.65% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:), which rose 5.55% or 1,120.00 points to trade at 21,300.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:) added 3.29% or 580.00 points to end at 18,200.00 and Promigas (BVC:) was up 2.53% or 190.00 points to 7,690.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Etb (BVC:), which fell 6.43% or 5.50 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:) declined 4.49% or 480.00 points to end at 10,200.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:) was down 2.34% or 280.00 points to 11,700.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 3.56% or 8.88 to $258.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.24% or 94.00 to hit $7,682.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.99% or 25.60 to trade at $2,606.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.76% to 4,178.31, while BRL/COP rose 0.33% to 750.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 101.11.
