Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Graphics Teased In New Showcase

[

Cyberpunk 2077 may have only just passed its fifth anniversary, but with technology advancing at a rapid rate in recent years, it is a shocking fact that the CD Projekt RED RPG could look even better if new-gen programs and hardware were used.

Although there is no denying that Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most stunning-looking games of all time, thanks to the neon-soaked streets of Night City, we can expect for its sequel, which has currently ramped up development, to look even better. Whilst we are yet to receive any official looks at Cyberpunk 2, which is unsurprising considering CDPR is currently in the very early stages of development, we can imagine Night City and the new Chicago-esque setting to shine when it comes to its graphics, and this recent YouTube upload gives us just a glimpse at all of the possibilities.

Shared on the Digital Dreams YouTube page, we can see Cyberpunk 2077 as it has never been seen before, thanks to the inclusion of the RTX 5090. The graphics card, which launched back in 2025, is pretty top-of-the-range and any PC that includes it will be capable of pushing a game’s setting to the maximum. For now, at least. That is what Digital Dreams has done with Cyberpunk 2077, showing us the CDPR RPG with ultra settings, making it look like a completely new game and giving us just a glimpse at what the highly-anticipated sequel could look like.

More specifically, Digital Dreams claims that this showcase features 8K graphics, the RTX 5090 and 9800X3D, and of course, includes Cyberpunk 2077 running at Ultra graphics. It is not an experience that many of us would be able to emulate without a top-of-the-range PC, but it is certainly one that is being appreciated by viewers.

However, as with every showcase of this caliber, it is worth noting that we only ever see driving gameplay which aims to show off Night City in all its glory, as opposed to any actual gameplay or combat. As such, it is currently unclear how these enhanced settings affect the main story, characters, and NPCs. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a Forzaesque showcase, this is definitely the one for you, and actually has me itching for a Forza entry set in Night City…

If nothing else, this showcase courtesy of Digital Dreams just goes to show how beloved Cyberpunk 2077 is to this day, which is all the more inspiring considering the state it launched in back in 2020. Thanks to the tireless dedication of CD Projekt RED, as well as its Phantom Liberty DLC and multiple free content updates, Cyberpunk 2077 remains as popular as ever. Let us just hope that the upcoming sequel lives up to the hype.
