DC officially has a new strongest hero, as the godlike Spectre officially chooses its new host. The embodiment of holy vengeance, the Spectre can warp reality in any way, so long as it is punishing the guilty. After being separated from its prior host Jim Corrigan, the Spectre chooses Yolanda Montez as its new host.
The moment comes in today’s JSA #21 – from Jeff Lemire and Diego Olortegui – and see Montez, aka Wildcat, accept the Spectre’s power. Her humanity and perspective will now guide its godlike vengeance in the DC Universe.
