Deadline Launching Reality TV Summit In LA With Stars, Buyers & Creators

Deadline is parlaying its industry-leading coverage of the reality television business into a live event.

The inaugural Deadline Reality Summit is launching in Los Angeles in May with a litany of top-tier talent, decision makers across the networks and streamers and the producers and creators behind the biggest unscripted hits on television.

The summit will take place on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Lumen West LA (11355 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064).

The idea is to bring together the best and the brightest in the business to discuss the future of the unscripted sector. The event is designed to shine a light on the current state of the industry, highlight and feature the key players behind these hits and the next generation of breakout shows.

Unscripted bosses across broadcast, cable and streaming will discuss the successes and challenges of the ever-changing industry and will be joined by the creators and producers of shows including The Real Housewives, Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules, The Challenge and Age of Attraction among many more.

They will discuss the future of the reality genre, why dating formats remain some of the buzziest shows in the business and how a new swathe of young talent from platforms such as YouTube are shaking things up.

There will also be stars from many of these shows including from Peacock’s Traitors and Bravo’s Top Chef, as well as Joel McHale, who hosts Fox game show The 1% Club and Jay Pharoah, host of Fox’s The Quiz With Balls and plenty more to come.
