    Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.88% By Investing.com

    Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

    At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.88%.

    The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.47% or 7.00 points to trade at 162.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE:) added 4.20% or 18.00 points to end at 446.40 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was up 3.13% or 5.00 points to 164.50 in late trade.

    The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 0.19% or 0.40 points to trade at 205.60 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) added 0.35% or 35.00 points to end at 9,920.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) was up 0.47% or 4.30 points to 918.50.

    Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 22 and 31 ended unchanged.

    Shares in Oersted AS (CSE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.20% or 18.00 to 446.40.

    Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.88% or 0.61 to $69.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.85% or 0.61 to hit $72.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 26.30 to trade at $2,606.90 a troy ounce.

    USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.73, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

    The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 101.01.
