Don’t wait for Black Friday – this affordable Hisense mini-LED TV’s price has just plummeted to a record-low

Black Friday may still be a couple of weeks away, but there’s been a big discount on a popular TV as the 55-inch Hisense U75Q has hit a record-low of $527.99 (was $913.60) at Amazon US: that’s a massive 42% saving!

If you’re in the UK, you can pick up the equivalent 55-inch Hisense U7Q Pro for £699 (was £999) at Currys, a big £300 discount.

Hisense‘s U7 series of mid-range mini-LED TVs are always among the best TVs ever year. They’re exceptional value because of the sheer amount of features they offer and the performance they deliver, and it’s always for a super competitive price. 2025’s Hisense U75QG is no different.

When we tested the Hisense U75QG, we were impressed by its picture quality. It hit a staggering 3,126 nits peak HDR brightness when we measured it, which exceptional for this price range and makes it a great choice for bright rooms. It also delivers deep blacks and rich contrast, which is great for scenes of space in movies we tested such as Gravity.

The U75Q is also a gaming powerhouse, with four HDMI 2.1 ports all supporting 4K 165Hz, FreeSync and G-Sync VRR, ALLM and Dolby Vision gaming. It also boasts a 9.8ms input lag time, meaning fast paced games such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 we played felt smooth during our testing. It’s up there with the best gaming TVs of 2025.

The Hisense U7Q Pro is the equivalent model in the UK with the major difference being the built-in smart TV: the U7Q Pro in the UK uses VIDAA, while the U75Q uses Google TV in the US. It’s worth noting there is a Hisense U7Q in the UK, but this is a more entry-level model and is more in line with the Hisense U6Q in the US.
