ExpressVPN holiday deal: the top VPN for Windows just got significantly more affordable

ExpressVPN has dropped its prices just in time for the holiday season, making the “premium” VPN choice a lot more accessible.

The provider is well known for its fast speeds, intuitive apps, and a large server network spanning 105 countries. However, it has historically been criticized for a steep price tag that sits well above competitors like NordVPN or Surfshark. However, that’s changed with these holiday discounts for December 2025.

Even though it’s the entry-level tier, it’s arguably the best value for most people, offering 10 simultaneous connections and the company’s ad and malicious site blocker.

For those requiring more power, the two-year Pro subscription has been cut to $167.78 upfront (before taxes) – a total saving of more than $40. Just don’t expect these rates to stick around forever. ExpressVPN deals are notoriously rare, and this seasonal drop is likely to vanish once the new year begins.

ExpressVPN review where it impressed us with blistering speeds, particularly when using the new Lightway Turbo protocol on Windows.

We also highlighted the usability of its apps and its “TrustedServer” RAM-only infrastructure, which is the gold standard for privacy.

But no product is perfect. Compared with the likes of NordVPN and Surfshark, it’s still missing some useful additional privacy features such as dedicated Tor-over-VPN servers.

Furthermore, while its 105-country reach is wider than most, the network density can feel uneven. You’ll find an abundance of options in the US and Europe, but fewer physical server clusters in regions like Africa or South America compared to some rivals.

So, if you need a specialized tool for connections in certain regions, or if you’re not a Windows user at all, then you might find ExpressVPN to be not quite the right fit.

But, if you’re after security, streaming and some solid IP spoofing, then it’s a great time to buy!
