- The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been leaked
- Fresh details about Avengers: Doomsday‘s next two teasers have also appeared online
- Marvel and Sony have issued multiple copyright takedowns on the footage
Marvel has suffered more teaser leak-based agony after new information about Avengers: Doomsday‘s next two teasers appeared on the internet.
Just 24 hours after Doomsday’s first spoiler-filled teaser leaked online, fresh details about the highly-anticipated movie’s second and third teasers have now surfaced.
The Disney subsidiary isn’t the only studio contending with a major leak. Indeed, two days after Spider-Man 4 story spoilers landed online, Sony executives are also likely pulling their hair out after a low-quality recording of Spider-Man: Brand New Day‘s first trailer has been shared across the *ahem* web.
I won’t be sharing links to the leaked videos and/or screenshots of said footage. However, I’m about to discuss some aspects of the teasers from this point on. If you don’t want to know anything about them, my spoiler-free guides on what we know so far about Avengers: Doomsday and everything we know about Spider-Man: Brand New Day should be your next port of call.
Potentially big spoilers immediately follow for Avengers 5 and Spider-Man 4. Proceed at your own risk!
Is Sadie Sink playing a hero or villain in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
One of the biggest mysteries surrounding Spider-Man‘s next adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is the identity of Sadie Sink’s character.
Ever since Sink was reportedly cast in Brand New Day, speculation has been rife about who she’ll play. And, while Spider-Man 4‘s first teaser doesn’t confirm which character she’s been cast as, it drops a big hint that she’s been hired to portray a villain.
Indeed, part-way through the trailer, the Stranger Things star can be heard telling Tom Holland’s eponymous hero: “You’re a mess, Peter Parker. Stay out of my way, or else it won’t just be your friends who don’t remember you.”
In the era of teasers created by artificial intelligence (AI), you might be wondering if this trailer is real or not. After all, AI-generated content has exploded in recent months, so there’s always a question mark over the authenticity of trailers like this.
This time, though, it seems that this is a legitimate teaser.
Industry insider DanielRPK, who has a pretty good track record with trailer-based intel, has taken to X/Twitter to claim it’s real. And, considering Sony has issued copyright takedowns to anyone who’s shared the footage online, it’s clear said video contains actual footage – albeit with apparently unfinished visual effects – is genuine.
What’s in the second and third Avengers: Doomsday teasers?
As for the fifth Avengers film’s next two bite-sized trailers, it seems the gossip columns were right about what they contained. Indeed, after rumors spread that trailers #2 and #3 would star Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom, new information has come to light that confirms this is the case.
Where Thor’s teaser is concerned, it includes part of an ominous speech from the God of Thunder, who sounds like he’s about to embark on something of a suicide mission. Meanwhile, the Doom-focused trailer reportedly shows him standing in his Latverian headquarters before opening a portal to an undisclosed destination.
Again, you might ask if one or both of these are AI-generated teasers. Like Sony, though, Marvel is fighting back against the leaks by issuing DMCA takedowns of the Marvel Phase 6 movie’s footage, so they’re also 100% real.
Of course, the big question now is: when will these Doomsday teasers and Brand New Day‘s first trailer actually be released online? The short answer is: I don’t know. But, if footage from two of 2026’s most exciting new movies continues to circulate online, Marvel and Sony could eventually relent and just post the HD/4K versions on their social channels. We’ll see if they bow to that pressure in the days and weeks ahead.
