The FlexiSpot Ergonomic Office Chair BS14 is a highly adjustable and pleasingly comfortable office chair that offers a lot for the price, so much that I can see it being a contender for a spot in our selection of the best office chairs in the near future. It can be purchased from the FlexiSpot website, with the list price varying depending on the colour, costing £359.99 for black or £379.99 for grey. It didn’t take me too long to assemble the FlexiSpot Ergonomic Office Chair BS14, although I needed help when it came to lifting the fully assembled seat onto the base.

I like the look of the grey BS14; it doesn’t look out of place in the TechRadar Reviews office, and would suit a home office space too. The mesh fabric has stayed in good condition after four months of regular use, but the white plastic five-star base has become badly scuffed and marked from my shoes. In terms of movement, I found the smooth casters made it surprisingly easy to manoeuvre across low-pile carpet, despite the BS14 being a little on the heavier side.

There are a bunch of adjustable elements to fine-tune on the BS14, including the seat’s height, tilt, and depth, and the position of the integrated lumbar support, headrest, and multi-functional armrests. While the BS14 isn’t an obvious choice for one of the best gaming chairs, the level of support it provides, combined with the recline angle of up to 125 degrees, would make it a good middle ground if your workstation happens to double as your game centre.
