F&O Ban List: Hindustan Copper, IEX among 5 stocks under trade ban on Wednesday

The Future & Options contracts of any stock enter the ban period when the open interest (OI) on it crosses 95% of the market-wide positions limits or MWPL. The ban on it is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%.

Traders who trade in indexes do not encounter a situation of security ban.

The MWPL for ABFRL stood at 93.7% on Tuesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 19.3 million. It was down 13.6% from the previous session.

The MWPL for Granules India stood at 136% on Tuesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 9.5 million. It was down 11.7% from the previous session.

The MWPL for Hindustan Copper stood at 103.8% on Tuesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 7.1 million. It was down by 65.2% from the previous session.For IEX, the MWPL stood at 111.5% on Tuesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 16.5 million. It was down 60.6% from the previous session.The MWPL for Vodafone Idea stood at 93.7% on Tuesday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 1.5 billion. It was down 6.8% from the previous session.

After an impressive streak of record highs, benchmark indices ended the day flat on Tuesday. Earlier in the session, both Nifty50 and Sensex made history, with the former surpassing 26,000 and the latter crossing the 85,000 mark for the first time, showcasing the market’s strong momentum. The 30-share BSE Sensex slipped 14 points, or 0.02%, to settle at 84,914, while the broader NSE Nifty inched up by 1 point, or 0.01%, to close at 25,940.
