    In a strong sign of revived foreign investor sentiment, overseas investors purchased Indian equities worth Rs 31,877 crore across sectors during the second half of March 2025, according to data compiled by the ET Bureau from NSDL.

    This rebound came after weeks of volatility and cautious positioning by global funds amid macroeconomic uncertainties. The RBI’s liquidity infusion measures appear to have reassured investors, potentially supporting an uptick in bank deposits and improving the overall sector outlook.
