Godzilla Minus One originally released in 2023 and is the 37th Godzilla film overall. Here’s the plot taken from the product page: “Post-war Japan is at its lowest point when a new crisis emerges in the form of a giant monster, baptized in the horrific power of the atomic bomb”. While there are other 4K versions of the film available to purchase, this Limited Edition SteelBook comes on three discs and with a handful of extra physical goodies, as well as new cover and interior case art. You’ll also get a clear slipcase and a limited edition poster of the iconic kaiju.
This releases October 6, so there’s plenty of time to catch up before its sequel, Godzilla Minus Zero, comes out in North American November 6 as the first Godzilla film to be released in IMAX. The sequel follows the Shikishima family again, two years after the events of the first film, as they navigate coming face to face with another massive threat.
