Google has temporarily pulled the Pixel 10’s Daily Hub feature in an attempt to make it more useful

Daily Hub is one of the many new software features on the Google Pixel 10 series – or at least it was, before Google pulled it from its latest handsets.

Back when it was available, though, Daily Hub would – as the name suggests – give you an overview of your day, complete with calendar entries, the weather, messages you’ve received, and recommendations of podcast episodes and videos.

So, why is it gone? Speaking to 9to5Google, a Google spokesperson said: “To ensure the best possible experience on Pixel, we’re temporarily pausing the public preview of Daily Hub for users. Our teams are actively working to enhance its performance and refine the personalized experience. We look forward to reintroducing an improved Daily Hub when it’s ready.”

So, it sounds like Google plans to bring Daily Hub back, but only once it’s been improved, and that’s understandable, because while our Pixel 10 Pro XL review described Daily Hub as offering “useful information” and “links I actually enjoy”, a lot of people seem far less convinced by it.
