GTA 5 Free Downloads Officially Available Until June 3

The release of what could easily become one of the biggest games ever is still scheduled for November, but that’s still almost six months away, and we’ll need to fill our time with something fun while we wait. That’s where Grand Theft Auto V comes into proceedings, and there’s still plenty going on in the bonkers sandbox of the online modes.

Rockstar have been very diligent about releasing new content with regularity, so whether you’re into racing, robbing, or rioting, there’s a lot of fun to be had if you get on the game at the right time. The latest of those content updates is a weekly event that comes with a bunch of worthwhile rewards and cosmetics for players to accrue.

As first reported by Rockstar Intel, the Money Fronts event is now live, with increased rewards across several activities and unique cosmetic rewards that will go away when the event draws to a close on June 3. Starting with the FIB Priority File right now, you’ll want to look out for The Fine Art File, as that grants double rewards across the board.

The Salvage Yard Robberies also have a new selection of rewards as follows:

• The Duggan Robbery: Toundra Panthere
• The Cargo Ship Robbery: Albany V-STR
• The Podium Robbery: Willard Eudora

Over at the GTA Online Casino, you can take a spin of the lucky prize wheel, and if everything comes up Milhouse, then you’ll be able to drive home in your brand-new Lampadati Komoda, which will usually set you back a cool $1,275,000 at Legendary Motorsport. GTA+ Members should also be aware that they get an extra spin each week from now on.

Sticking with cars, if you can place top two in a LS Car Meet Race for 2 days in a row, you’ll unlock the Truffade Nero as the Prize Ride vehicle. That’s worth a staggering $1,440,000 from Benny’s Original Motor Works, so it’s well worth getting for free if you have the necessary skills to do so.

The Weekly Challenge requires players to “Complete three Hands On Car Wash Legal Missions,” following which you’ll be granted a cool $100,000 to top up the coffers. All of the other weekly rotations have changed as well, so make sure to check in on those to see if there’s anything you need to grab.

These events should continue all the way up to launch day for GTA VI, so we hopefully shouldn’t have a sad period where we’ve got nothing to do before the next game comes out. Let’s just hope that when the big day does come, the game delivers on everything that we’re hoping for.
