The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI is closer than it has ever been, with the two previous delays coming at earlier points in the cycle. That proximity is dialing up anticipation across the board, and fans are expecting more information to emerge on the game with each passing day.
That said, Rockstar themselves have remained incredibly tight-lipped outside of the release of the two trailers, and we’re left looking around for hints at what they might have planned. One area that is still up for debate is the game’s soundtrack, and with some iconic selections to live up to, some very interesting tidbits have started to emerge.
GTA 6’s Soundtrack Has Gamers Pretty Hyped
Over on Twitter/X, one user shared a post detailing two artists who recently teased collaborations with Rockstar Games, with the next logical step being that their tracks are likely to feature in the next game.
The obvious caveat is that they should be under NDA, but this wouldn’t be the first (or even the tenth) time, that an artist has broken this. It’s safe to say that fans were very excited about the potential inclusions, with one saying, “Man, let’s f***ing go!! Neon Indian is one of my favorite artists. Radio Mirror Park really helped to shape my music taste as a teen… I hope there’s an equivalent to that in 6. They are really gonna go above and beyond with the music curation once more.”
“Rockstar locking in Panama + Neon Indian? GTA VI’s radio stations might actually be generational,” another added.
“Rockstar curates music very carefully. If these collaborations are real, they probably fit a specific in-game radio theme,” a third said.
GTA Soundtracks Never Miss
The fact remains that Rockstar have always done an incredible job of implementing music in GTA games, with the most recent entry in the series arguably being the best example of that. It also featured a ton of famous faces making cameo appearances as DJs and presenters, so let’s hope for some exciting additions in that department this time round as well.
