GTA 6 Trailer 3 Has Gamers Marking Their Calendars Following Official Announcement

The upcoming release of GTA VI has such an unbelievable amount of hype surrounding it that the game’s fans are looking just about anywhere for more info about what exactly it’s going to be like, and when we are going to get it.

Though we have a November release date locked in right now, the collective trauma of two official delays means that very few are willing to bet the house on us actually being able to play it before the year is out. As such, the next few months are critical, and a recent announcement has fans counting down the days, and potentially marking their calendars for a third and final trailer.

In case you missed it, Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive confirmed that they are having their next earnings call on May 21. These earnings calls might sound like the usual boring corporate nonsense, but they have previously been the grounds where we have found out a lot about GTA VI’s release plans, including the two delays.

Over on Reddit, one person shared that news and pitched it as “a moment of truth” to the hordes of very nervous fans. The truth is that if we get past the next earnings call without another delay, then we are more than likely free and clear to stick to the currently scheduled date. In turn, that would likely mean that we are also going to get a third and final trailer at least a few months out from launch.

“Please, no more delays. We are barely surviving 2026, let alone 2027. If they delay it again, I don’t think we will ever survive to play this game lol,” one comment read.

“I really, REALLY hope there’s not another delay incoming. Ever since trailer 2 and the delay, I’ve been very quiet but silently excited at this point. I’m hoping for some good news in the upcoming weeks. I feel that the game is definitely ready. But then again, anything is possible at this point. Here’s hoping everyone,” another added.

The fact remains that there’s still a lot that’s up in the air about the release of GTA VI, and there’s a world in which they have to push it again to finish things off. It’s an obvious hazard of the job in a game that’s as ambitious as this one is, but let’s hope we’re finally there are 2026 proves to be the tipping point where we finally get to see what Rockstar has been cooking up.
