Halo: Campaign Evolved Limited-Time Free Download Officially Available Now

Halo might be one of the biggest and most iconic franchises in the history of video games, but it really is in need of a big win to get fans back on board, after a lacklustre run that left fans wanting. Halo: Campaign Evolved has every chance of being that shot in the arm if it carries through on its promise, and there will undoubtedly be millions of fans who buy it to find out.

Given how well some remakes and remasters have done in recent times, it does feel like a sensible play, and a potential first step in restoring the confidence of the fan base. As part of that, they are almost certainly going to try and sweeten the deal as much as possible, and the first of those offers is live now.

Fanta/Xbox

As first reported by True Achievements, Fanta is currently running a campaign, in conjunction with Xbox, in which players can get themselves an extremely gaudy, bright orange suit for Master Chief, simply by buying promotional cans of the soft drink while the offer remains valid.

The fun doesn’t stop there though, as it’s possible to get a bunch of rewards for other games produced by Microsoft-owned studios, with the full list as follows:

To get the items, the first thing you need to do is scan the QR code on any of the specialized Fanta packaging. That will give you one of three Xbox-themed interactive challenges to complete: Extract the Cargo, Survive the Sweep, and Shatter the Spell. Completing those grants one of the game rewards above, as well as giving players the chance to win bigger prizes, including an ROG Xbox Ally, an Xbox Series S, an Xbox Wireless Controller, and one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (new subscribers only).

Any fair-minded gamer will want Campaign Evolved to deliver on everything it’s supposed to, if only to ensure that we all get more Halo games in the future. It’s one of the most important franchises in gaming history, and it would be a huge shame to see it fall by the wayside with little to no fanfare.
