Gay ice hockey romance series Heated Rivalry, corporate drama Industry and horror comedy Widow’s Bay lead the 42nd Annual TCA Awards nominations with five each, the Television Critics Association announced Friday.
They’re followed by Hacks, The Pitt and Pluribus with 4 each and The Comeback, Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Shrinking with 3 each.
The 2026 TCA Awards honor standout series and stars from the 2025-2026 television season. Winners will be announced later this summer across TCA’s social media.
TCA also announced it is expanding its categories to 14 with the additions of Outstanding Achievement in Animation—recognizing the best in new or returning animated series—and Outstanding Achievement in International Series, recognizing the best overall series produced by a country outside the United States where the predominant language spoken on screen is not English.
The Simpsons, South Park, and Invincible are among the nominees for the Outstanding Achievement in Animation award, and Outstanding International Series nominees include Squid Game, The Boyfriend and The House of the Spirits.
In late-night, John Oliver, Jimmy Kimmel, and Seth Meyers will face of in the Outstanding Achievement in Variety, Talk, or Sketch category.
