The stars are out for the UConn men’s basketball team’s Final Four matchup against Illinois at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Several former UConn stars, as well as other big-name celebrities, were in attendance to watch Dan Hurley and the Huskies attempt to reach a third National Championship game in four years.

Here were some of the celebrities spotted at the UConn game on Saturday:
Former National Champions
Plenty of former UConn National Champions were in the stands to watch the current generation at work, including Ryan Boatright, Emeka Okafor and Shabazz Napier.
Boatwright was part of the 2013–14 NCAA championship team, while Napier won two national championships in 2011 and 2014. Okafor played for UConn’s 2004 national championship team.

Another pair of former champions to show support were Kevin Freeman and Khalid El-Amin.
Both Freeman and El-Amin were starters on the first UConn championship team in 1999.
Samson Johnson, a two-time NCAA champion in 2023 and 2024, was seen in a photo with a handful of former UConn players, including James Bouknight, Charlie Villanueva (2004 NCAA champion), and Rip Hamilton (1999 NCAA champion) among others.

According to Sam Calhoun, additional former Huskies in attendance were Alex Oriakhi (2011 NCAA champion), Cam Spencer (2024 NCAA champion), Deandre Daniels (2014 NCAA champion), Beau Archibald (1999 NCAA champion), Ben Gordon (2004 NCAA champion), and Josh Boone (2004 NCAA champion).
NBA Players at the Final Four
Boban Marjanović, the 7-foot-4 former NBA player was spotted in the UConn student section.

Marjanović played many years overseas before signing an NBA contract in 2015 with the San Antonio Spurs. He also played with the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets.
During the TNT broadcast, the camera turned to UConn legend Ray Allen.

Allen played for UConn from 1993 to 1996 before going to the NBA, where he became a two-time NBA champion, and a 10-time All-Star. At UConn he was named 1996 Big East Player of the Year and his number, 34, is retired.
Bill Murray
It is no surprise that legendary comedian and actor Bill Murray was at the game, as he had been previous tournament games to support his son Luke Murray, who is on the UConn coaching staff.
Legendary Coaches
Former Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim was spotted at the game. Boeheim coached at Syracuse from 1976 until 2023 and led the program to five Final Four appearances, three national championship appearances and to the 2003 NCAA national title.

Also in the stands was former Kentucky coach Tubby Smith, who won the 1998 NCAA championship. He also served as head coach at Tulsa, Georgia, Minnesota, Texas Tech, Memphis and High Point. Smith is one of three coaches to lead five different teams to the NCAA tournament.
