Ann Droid is a new BBC sitcom created by and starring Diane Morgan, best known for her roles as Philomena Cunk and Mandy, as well as projects like Motherland and After Life. Now, she brings her impeccable comic timing to a sci-fi family series and potentially another memorable character in Linda.

An-Droid – a clever pun – kicks off when widow Sue’s son, Michael, gifts her a second-hand robot carer, Linda, played by Morgan, to help her live independently.
