Knee High Spies – a viral Australian animated kids’ TV show inspired by Toy Story – follows the adventures of toy spies in a typical Aussie household. It’s streaming now in Australia, but fans in US, UK, Canada and anywhere else needn’t miss out.

What is Knee High Spies?
While most modern kids’ shows rely on CGI animation, Knee High Spies adopts a traditional, back-to-basics puppet-based production style – the toys are real characters on set operated by puppeteers. CGI is used only to enhance stunts and add finishing effects, making the show feel more life-like and tactile.
The show is created by Tim Bain, best known as the creator of Kangaroo Beach and Let’s Go, Bananas!. His experience working on shows like Bluey, Bob the Builder, and Thomas & Friends shows in this series’ playful tone, fast-paced storytelling, and child-friendly sense of adventure.
Beyond the action, the show highlights the importance of kindness, often showing the protagonists helping Silver Paw – despite her being the villain.
