How to watch, stream NFL Thursday Night Football Week 3 games live online free without cable: NBC, Amazon

    [

It’s a battle for the AFC East this Thursday as the New York Jets host their home opener against the New England Patriots.

Both teams stand at 1-1 in a three-way tie for second place in the division, though the Patriots came close last week, losing in overtime to the Seattle Seahawks. And both teams are looking to make a statement this week.

For the Jets, it’s a chance to get back on track after last week’s loss to the Giants and for Aaron Rogers to make a better impression with fans after a so-so start to the season. The Patriots are still working out the kinks with new head coach Jerod Mayo and quarterback Jacoby Brissett, a nine-year veteran who many were surprised to see starting this season after the team drafted Drake Maye in the overall No. 3 pick.

Here’s how to watch this week’s game and what you can expect from Thursday night games tonight (and in the weeks to come).
