With the first tournament in North America of the season, the 2026 LIV Golf Mexico City (formerly LIV Golf Mayakoba) tees off starting on Thursday, Apr. 16 and goes until Sunday, Apr. 19 at Club De Golf Chapultepec in Mexico.
In its fourth annual of play in Mexico City, the pro golf season extends tournaments from 54 holes to 72 holes in a new format change.
Going into Mexico City, Spanish golfer Jon Rahm still sits high at the top of the leaderboard with 579.00 points after five tournaments. However, American Bryson DeChambeau climbs up the ranks in second place, despite winning South Africa. Elvis Smylie, Anthony Kim and Thomas Detry round out the top five.
As for team play, Ripper GC, led by Australian Cameron Smith, is at the top of the pack with 85.75 after five tournaments.
During the tournament, 57 players are spread over 13 four-player teams with five wild card positions, which are up for grabs. Players get compete in teams and as individuals to gain points throughout the season.
Meanwhile, LIV Golf Mexico City features top pro players, including Joaquin Niemann, Talor Gooch, Patrick Reed, Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson and others.

Starting on Thursday, Apr. 16, with tee time at 3:15 p.m. ET/12:15 p.m. PT, the LIV Golf Mexico City tournament airs on FOX and FOX Sports (FS1). Check out a complete schedule here.
