I gave the Garmin Fenix 8 the maximum 5 stars and called it ‘expensive perfection’ — but right now it’s cheaper than ever in the Amazon Spring Sale

The Garmin Fenix 8 is an incredible watch. I’ve tested it extensively, from long runs to tracking my sleep, to asking an experienced scuba diver to test-drive its Dive Mode, and I’ve concluded that it’s the ultimate watch for adventure enthusiasts.

It’s normally pretty expensive, but right now you can get the Garmin Fenix 8 cheaper than ever thanks to Amazon UK’s Spring Deal Days sale. The discounts apply across most of the Fenix 8’s different sizes and screen options, but there are a couple in particular that really stand out.

Garmin Fenix 8 five stars in my review, calling it “rugged, expensive perfection”, but you can now scratch “expensive” off that quote. Don’t fancy the smaller model? You can get the Garmin Fenix 8 (47mm) AMOLED in Slate Grey for £688.41 at Amazon (was £789.99).

You can also get the Garmin Fenix E at its cheapest-ever price. With an older heart rate sensor, no speaker and mic for taking calls (and thus no voice assistant), and slightly fewer features, it’s not as good as the Fenix 8, but still a cracking adventure watch. Right now, you can find the Garmin Fenix E (47mm) for £409.99 (was £529.99) at Amazon.
