I rounded up the best Toy Story 5 toys and merch — these are the high-tech figures, Lego sets, and apparel worth buying

We’re just days away from Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang — along with some newcomers like Lilypad and SmartyPants — returning to the big screen for Toy Story 5. Safe to say, it’s an exciting time for fans of the franchise like myself, and you can bet I’ll be in theaters soon enough as the film opens on June 19, 2026.

Along with seeing the beloved characters return with a fresh story, I’m also pretty stoked for an original song from Taylor Swift joining the acclaimed Randy Newman score.

Mattel has two of the most high-tech, realistic Woody and Buzz action figures to ever hit the market, with a huge amount of attention to detail paid to the designs and what is essentially a miniaturized animatronic for facial movements — plus the ability for Buzz and Woody to have a conversation together. These are certainly higher-end, but there’s also a full line of interactive PlayScale figures from Mattel.

LeapFrog has also turned Lilypad into an actual educational tablet toy, and if you have an iPad — or your kid does — Belkin has a Lilypad case designed for the 10th- or 11th-generation iPad. Beyond these, Funko Pop has a whole line of characters from the film, Adidas has Jessie-themed Mary Janes and Woody-themed Sambas, Away has colorful luggage themed to the iconic franchise, and there are countless other products, including Lego sets.
