Game on!
The Nintendo Switch 2 has only been available for a week and we’ve already spotted a substantial discount on the cute and portable console.
With the code SSNOW, you can save AU$50 on both the Nintendo Switch 2 and shipping from EB Games’ eBay store – bringing the price down to AU$659.90. It’s not the biggest saving, but given that the console only debuted recently, it’s still a worthwhile way to spend less while also getting the latest console – and it frees up some cash to buy some games or extra accessories, as this bundle only includes the console, two Joy-Cons, a Joy-Con controller bracket and a dock.

Total home cinema
Sonos makes some of the best soundbars to elevate your home TV viewing experience. And you can take things even further with the addition of rear speakers and a subwoofer, to give you a fully-fledged Dolby Atmos home cinema system, without the need for too much space.
Now, I’m first to admit Sonos gear ain’t exactly cheap, especially when you start adding more products onto your order, which is why discounts across the entire range at JB Hi-Fi have caught my attention.
Taking the most feature-packed kit as an example, comprising the Arc Ultra soundbar, 2x Era 300s for the rear and a Sub 4 for room-shaking bass, the total cost of the components together – AU$3,796 – comes to less than buying the full set direct at Sonos – AU$4,366. That’s AU$570 in savings!
Plus, by buying individually, you’re free to choose which colour you want for which speaker. You may want a black soundbar to blend in with your TV entertainment unit, for example, and white rear speakers to match your sofa.
We’re back on the tools once again today to seek out the best that EOFY 2025 has to offer. I’ve just performed a price check of all the current deals listed on this page and, fortunately, most have remained steady.
I have noticed a few price increases, notably on select cameras and TVs, so I’ll be making sure to look for replacements for those as my priority today.
PS5 gamers should get excited, however, as the PSVR2 has dropped further in price on Amazon by around AU$100. It’s still not hit the lowest-ever price we’ve seen, but at just over AU$530, it could make now the perfect time for you to venture into VR.
Canon your way into photography
Just because camera makers have been concentrating on full-frame 35mm snappers, doesn’t mean the smaller sensors aren’t worth considering. The EOS R7, particularly, is a wonderful enthusiast-level camera with specs that belong on a higher-end model. 32.5MP resolution, 651 autofocus points with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II on board, 5-axis stabilisation, up to 30fps bursts, 4K/60p video… that list goes on and impressively so. And it performs remarkably well in the real world too.
If you’ve been considering getting your very first camera, then Amazon currently has the best price for the body – note, however, that stock is extremely limited.
Canon EOS R7 body: was AU$2,299 AU$1,794 on Amazon
If you’re after a kit for this mirrorless marvel, then again, Amazon might be the best place to shop. You can get the R7 bundled with the 18-150mm kit lens from Ted’s Cameras for AU$2,272, but Amazon has beaten the camera specialist by AU$77.
Canon EOS R7 body + RF-S 18-150mm kit lens: was AU$2,499 now AU$2,194 on Amazon
Max it out with Apple
Apple’s AirPods Max are a ridiculously expensive set of over-ear headphones, but damn are they good! If you have the spare change, then you’re getting a really classy design combined with a beautiful soundstage and really good noise cancellation that matches the competition from Sony and Bose.
If you’re an iPhone or iPad user (or any Apple device, really), then these cans truly are a great companion if you’re after beautiful sound. Understandably its AU$899 price tag is rather inhibiting, but if you’re keen, then take advantage of the AU$189 discount available on eBay right now.
You will need to be an eBay Plus member to get the full discount – if you aren’t, then it’s a good thing that you can sign up for a free trial to grab this offer. You can always cancel any time if you don’t want to pay the ongoing AU$49 annual fee.
Note that this offer applies only to the Black colourway.

Stand up for this deal – quality standing desk for less
EOFY is a great time to invest in office furniture – whether that’s for the workplace or the home office. Either way, this one is definitely tax deductible.
A standing desk doesn’t come cheap, at least not a quality one. I have one of these at home myself and have been using it for nearly a year now. So far, I’ve had no complaints at all. In fact, Aussie company Desky has made one heck of a standing desk.
It’s standout feature is the under-desk cable management system. While this is an additional purchase for AU$49, it’s absolutely worth it. Your power board can sit within or, if you’re willing to spend a little more money, you can get clip-in boards from the company itself. These keep all your cables hidden away and, best part, you can even fit the tray on after you’ve assembled the desk. It’s really easy to do so.
The hardwood options, while expensive, are excellent. The dual motors I have on my desk are quiet and, interestingly, if the companion app on my iPhone is connected to the desk, I can just ask Siri to raise or lower the Desky for me. The caveat here is that the app needs to stay connected which, sadly, doesn’t happen if you have exited it. That said, the controller is easy to use and set up, plus its colour lighting is a nice touch. All in all, a fantastic investment for a workspace.

Good morning deal fans!
We’ve only just seriously begun to hunt for EOFY deals – we’re blaming Amazon for keeping us busy last week with its Mid-Year Sale.
You don’t really need to fret if you missed out on that sale. We’re pedal to the metal now to finding all the best tech EOFY deals we can from various retailers. My team and I will do all the hard work for you – we’ll find the discounted item, compare prices across retailers, then tell you where to buy it from.
In the meantime, we’ve already made sure that all the deals currently on this page have been checked for price and stock. We’ll continue to add to this list today, and through the rest of the month, so don’t go anywhere.
Amazon’s Mid-Year Sale for 2025 might have ended, but not all the deals have. There are still plenty of great discounts to be had. I’ve already highlighted the Bose QC Ultra Headphones below, but there’s a lot more where that came from.
From a tempting 45% on an very capable Samsung tablet to a whole bunch of PC peripherals to kit out your work desk. If you missed out, we’ve still got all the best deals still available from the sale listed on a dedicated page.
Check out all best deals from Amazon Mid-Year Sale still live.
Sony’s brave deal – via JB Hi-Fi
This is the TV deal of the day!
There are already quite a few good EOFY TV deals but this one stands out for being a very deep discount on a telly that has been on shelves for just about a month.
The Sony Bravia 8 II was announced in April, then came to shelves last month. I’m no expert when it comes to TVs, but my colleague Max Langridge assures me that this one heck of a deal. He’s so confident that it’s a good offer that he’s written about the Sony OLED TV offer already.
He’s quite taken by the fact that a newly released TV has gotten such a steep discount – AU$1,300 off is no joke. And that’s happening at JB Hi-Fi right now. This is the 65-inch model and while its RRP is admittedly pretty steep, this discount makes it a lot more enticing.

This Bose is boss – QC Ultra Headphones for a record-low price
Stop the presses because Bose’s best cans are constantly dropping in price!
The QC Ultra Headphones were AU$399 earlier in June (we wrote about that on June 2), then they dropped to AU$398 in during Amazon’s Mid-Year Sale last week, and now they’re down to an even lower AU$392.99. You can get that price by checking the coupon box on the Amazon listing page, otherwise you’ll still pay AU$398.
The additional coupon is only available on the Black and White Smoke colour options, but Lunar Blue and 60th Edition Diamond variants are going cheaper than RRP at AU$398. The Deep Plum is just a dollar more. And they’re all accessible via the same listing.
Why the Bose QC Ultra Headphones? Firstly, they’re flagship Bose cans, so you’re getting world-class performance and comfort here. Secondly, they’ve been our pick of the best noise-cancelling headphones since they launched in 2023, only recently being challenged by the brand-new Sony WH-1000XM6 (which we doubt will see a discount any time soon).
That’s got to say something. If you have the spare cash, these premium headphones are absolutely worth it for a very generous discount.

Laptops for less
One of the most popular items to buy during EOFY is a laptop. Whether you want one for work or play, June is a good time to pick up one and, if the main purpose is the former (and if the latter is your work), the device becomes tax deductible. That means you could pocket a little extra savings in the form of the returns.
We’re keeping an eye on all the top EOFY laptop deals, handled by my colleague who is an expert in all things computing. He’s following sales on the Lenovo and HP websites, plus checking retailers for other brands too: Dell, Apple and more.
You can find all of his picks in our dedicated EOFY laptops deals page.
It’s time to jostle for the best EOFY deals in June!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Australia’s EOFY 2025 sale. Most Aussie retailers will have discounts of some flavour or the other, and chances are they’ll be trying to outmatch each other in a bid to make a sale. That’s good news for the buyer – that’s you, dear reader – so you get to maximise your savings.
However, having to trawl through various retailers and comparing prices can be time consuming and, occasionally, overwhelming. That’s where my team and I come in. We’ve not only been covering various sales for the last decade but, between us, we have a ton of experience with various tech products. We each have a specialisation – for example, I’m a photographer and have extensive knowledge on E Ink tablets – so we’re able to tell you exactly what is a good deal. We might not bring you the lowest price on a product, but we will explain why that’s so.
So if you’d like to shop along with us, bookmark this page as we’ll keep it updated through the rest of the month, all the way until EOFY deals end on June 30.
