February isn’t usually the best time to pick up a gaming laptop, but there is one exception in this otherwise quiet month: the annual Presidents’ Day sales. Even though the big day is next week, several retailers like Walmart and Best Buy have already launched promising price cuts on laptops.
In fact, I’ve been scanning through hundreds of listings today, and I’d say some of these deals are almost as good as those from Black Friday last year. Considering laptop prices have had a bit of a knock lately with the ongoing RAM crisis, that’s very impressive in context. It’s definitely not the worst time to pick up a machine, that’s for sure.

Included are options for all budgets today, but the RTX 5060, RTX 5070, and RTX 5070 Ti machines at Best Buy and Walmart are particularly good value right now – with some prices actually beating those from Black Friday.
