The success of The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day hasn’t just benefited stars Zendaya and Tom Holland, but also Jon Bernthal, the third member of this trio of actors who appeared in both movies. While The Accountant 2 concluded its box-office run with $103 million worldwide against a reported budget of $80 million, the spy movie grossed $96 million globally against a reported budget of $60 million. Both films were essentially designed to gain momentum following their home-video debuts, which is exactly what happened. They were no doubt aided by excellent fan reception; The Accountant 2 holds a 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, while the spy movie is sitting at an 87% audience score on the aggregator website. Aside from Bernthal, who appeared in a supporting role as a CIA field agent, and Malek, who played a CIA cryptographer, the movie also features Rachel Brosnahan, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Caitríona Balfe.
