(Reuters) – Europe’s biggest food delivery firm Just Eat Takeaway said on Wednesday it has struck a deal to offer Amazon (NASDAQ:) Prime members in Germany, Austria and Spain free delivery of food orders above 15 euros ($16.13).
Just Eat said there were no financial terms to the partnership which it deemed “mutually beneficial” for both companies.
The deal marks its first collaboration with Amazon in Europe.
In late May, Amazon said its customers in the U.S. can now order from Just Eat-owned Grubhub directly on its shopping app and the website, extending a deal that already offers its Prime members a no-fee access to Grubhub+ membership.
The initial deal between the two companies was struck in mid-2022.
The collaboration will launch through Lieferando in Germany and Austria and Just Eat in Spain, Just Eat said.
