Justin Bieber’s Brother Jaxon Bieber Gets First Tattoo at 16: Bible Verse

Everything is hallelujah for Jaxon Bieber.

After all, the 16-year-old half-brother of Justin Bieber was inspired by his faith for his first-ever tattoo.

In a picture shared to Instagram Aug. 4, Jaxon displayed the script lettering on his right rib cage that read “John 3:17”—a reference to a Bible verse that reads, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Marking the moment, the teenager—whose parents are Justin’s dad Jeremy Bieber and his ex Erin Wagner—simply wrote in the caption, “Tatted.”

While Jaxon has kept mostly out of the spotlight in recent years—last making a public appearance with Justin on the red carpet of the 2016 Grammys—his new tattoo has a special connection to his brother since the “Everything Hallelujah” singer also got his first tattoo when he was 16.

Since then, the Grammy winner—whose other siblings include his stepsister Allie Bieber, 19, and half-sisters Jazmyn, 18, and Bay, 7—has racked up more than 60 total tattoos, many of which are rooted in his own religious beliefs.
