Hit Korean thriller “A Shop for Killers” will return for its second season July 22 on Disney+ and Hulu.
The eight-episode sequel picks up with Jian now running the weapons shop and Jinman back from the dead, as the pair work to fend off a humiliated Babylon, which recruits overseas reinforcements to rebuild its ranks and seek revenge.
Lee Dongwook (“Harbin,” “The Nice Guy”) and Kim Hyejun (“Connect,” “Cashero”) reprise their roles as Jeong Jinman and Jeong Jian, respectively. They are joined by Japanese stars Hyunri (“Missing,” “Pachinko”) as team leader Q and Masaki Okada (“Drive My Car,” “Last Mile”) as mercenary J. Season 1 writers Jee Hojin (“Newtopia”) and Lee Kwon (“Door Lock”) return for the new season, with Lee Kwon also directing.
Season 2 will premiere with two episodes on July 22, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday through the season finale on August 12.
The first season of “A Shop for Killers” proved to be a global success for the platforms.
The series is part of a wave of Korean sequels coming to Disney+. “Made In Korea,” starring Hyun Bin as a corrupt special agent and Jung Woosung as a prosecutor, will return with its second season later this year, while “Moving” has begun production on its second season following its run as a Korean superpowered drama. Season 1 of “Made in Korea” became the streamer’s most-viewed Korean original premiere of 2025 across Asia-Pacific markets.
“A Shop for Killers” Season 1 is streaming now, with Season 2 launching July 22 on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the U.S.
