Marvel just unveiled brand-new designs for both Green Goblin and Carnage, two of Spider-Man’s most iconic nemeses, in the June 2 State of Play. The presentation opened with the reveal that Jean Gray will appear in Marvel’s Wolverine, but Marvel wasn’t done quite yet.
Both Spidey villains have brand-new costumes in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, an upcoming fighting game from Arc System Works. Like all the game’s characters, Green Goblin and Carnage have new designs inspired by Japanese culture and design sensibilities. They join the roster as members of the Knights of Doom, led by Doctor Doom himself, and alongside another Marvel icon, Magneto. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, with all its new character designs, is set to launch on August 6, 2026.
