    Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 1.24% By Investing.com

    Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

    At the close in Casablanca, the fell 1.24%.

    The best performers of the session on the were Societe Equipement Domestique et Menager SA (CSE:), which rose 8.06% or 87.00 points to trade at 1,167.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cartier Saada (CSE:) added 5.71% or 2.00 points to end at 37.00 and AFMA SA (CSE:) was up 1.98% or 23.00 points to 1,184.00 in late trade.

    The worst performers of the session were Total Maroc SA (CSE:), which fell 6.18% or 105.00 points to trade at 1,595.00 at the close. Micro Data SA (CSE:) declined 4.83% or 32.00 points to end at 630.00 and Akdital SA (CSE:) was down 4.68% or 49.00 points to 999.00.

    Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 39 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged.

    Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.40% or 0.98 to $70.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.32% or 0.97 to hit $74.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 25.00 to trade at $2,665.30 a troy ounce.

    EUR/MAD was down 0.26% to 10.79, while USD/MAD fell 0.06% to 9.75.

    The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 101.39.
