Whitney Thore is about to make one fabulous bride.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star revealed that she and Jake Beaudoin are engaged three days after making their romance Instagram official.
“Jake has officially graduated from boyfriend to fiancé,” she told People in an interview published Aug. 18. “We’re getting married, and we couldn’t be happier.”
Thore shared that the engagement left her “completely surprised,” adding that it made the milestone “even more special.”
“It was truly perfect,” she explained. “The ring is absolutely beautiful, and there’s a special story behind it that means so much to us. We’re thrilled to start this next chapter and build our future together as husband and wife.”
Just three days before the announcement, Thore confirmed her romance with Beaudoin, debuting their relationship on Instagram Aug. 15.
In one photo, Thore—wearing sneakers, brown pants, a black top and a bandana—was all smiles as she posed beside Beaudoin with an arm wrapped around him.
Meanwhile, another sweet photo captured the couple sharing a kiss at Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina as Beaudoin—sporting sneakers, tan jeans and a black T-shirt—wrapped his arm around the TLC star’s waist.
