It’s the most wonderful time of the year: NBA Finals season.
This year, the New York Knicks are facing the San Antonio Spurs. The 2026 NBA Finals are especially significant, marking the Knicks’ first trip to the championship round since 1999 — when they also faced the Spurs and fell in five games. The matchup is a rematch nearly three decades in the making.
The Finals have united New York City, with Knicks fans flooding the streets around Madison Square Garden for outdoor watch parties. And inside the arena, celebrities have been turning out to support their teams, including Knicks superfans Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller, Spike Lee and Tracy Morgan. Game 3 also featured an appearance from President Donald Trump, while Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner showed up during Game 4.
