Netflix CEOs Salary: Ted Sarandos, Greg Peters See Pay Drop in 2025

Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters saw their compensation come in just above $53 million in 2025, which actually marked a decrease in the chiefs’ pay packages from 2024.

The streamer announced the co-CEOs and presidents’ pay in an SEC filing Thursday, which came out just as the Netflix execs were fielding analyst questions about their first-quarter 2026 earnings during a live-streamed interview.

In total, Sarandos’ pay package for 2025 was $53.9 million and Peters’ was $53.2 million. In 2024, Sarandos’ compensation was $62 million and Peters’ was $60 million.

According to the filing, Sarandos and Peters both received a base salary of $3 million in 2025 and stock awards of $41.4 million. Neither of the co-CEOs had bonuses or option awards for the year, but each received a cash-based awards of more than $7 million. “All other compensation” (which includes personal use of Netflix’s corporate aircraft) for Sarandos stood at $2.5 million and for Peters it was $1.7 million.

Netflix also disclosed the 2025 pay for co-founder and former executive chairman of the board Reed Hastings, who received a base salary of $33,846 and $1.24 million in total from the company.

Chief financial officer Spencer Neumann’s compensation for the year was $20.8 million on a base salary of $2 million. Chief legal officer David Hyman received $15.4 million, also with a salary of $2 million. Chief global affairs officer Clete Willems’ pay package was $14.3 million, including a base salary of $761,539. Willems, who joined Netflix last April, was the only member of the C-suite to receive a bonus (a $2.8 million sign-on bonus) for the year.
