Netflix‘s impactful action thriller series scores a major knockout.

Netflix’s roster of TV shows and movies is high on action. Netflix Original series like The Night Agent, Money Heist, Cobra Kai, Last Samurai Standing, and FUBAR have found huge success on the streaming service, connecting not only with United States viewers but with audiences all over the world. That is Netflix’s ultimate goal as a streaming service with a wide reach.

Parallel to that, the streamer has been slowly crafting an empire of foreign shows over the years. Squid Game, Money Heist, Detective Hole, Dark, Alice in Borderland, and many more have become quite successful on the streaming service. Among Netflix’s best foreign-language series is an action thriller that sits among the streamer’s best, and it has just returned to huge success.

According to FlixPatrol, Bloodhounds is currently the 2nd most-watched TV show on Netflix worldwide. The South Korean action series debuted on the streamer on June 9, 2023. Three years later, Bloodhounds season 2 arrived on Netflix on April 3, 2026. Just a day later, the action thriller series entered Netflix’s global charts at #2, the position it continues to occupy to this date.

At the time of writing, Bloodhounds leaves behind shows like One Piece, which also recently returned with its second season, and new Netflix thriller hits Detective Hole and Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. The Netflix action thriller series is only defeated on the streamer’s global charts by XO, Kitty. That series shares its setting, South Korea, with Bloodhounds.

After the release of Bloodhounds season 2, the action series is currently trending in a whopping 89 countries. Out of those, the action thriller series is Netflix’s most-watched in 15 countries, including Qatar, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and many more. Bloodhounds is also a hit in the United States, with the 2-season series currently being the 9th most-watched Netflix show nationwide.

On Netflix’s United States TV show chart, Bloodhounds leaves behind Beauty in Black in 10th place. The list includes popular shows like XO, Kitty, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, Virgin River, and more. The US chart is led by WWE’s Raw. Bloodhounds season 2 stands at a high 81% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.

Bloodhounds follows two young boxers, Kim Gun-woo, whose mother becomes entangled with a shadowy loan shark organization, and Hong Woo-jin, a former marine and current troublemaker who uses boxing to center himself. They team up with Choi Tae-ho, a goodhearted moneylender driven by a tragedy to take down the organization. Now, Bloodhounds season 2 puts the characters at the center of an underground boxing league.
