The Z Fold8 Ultra is the highest-end of the new offerings. It’s for power users who want the biggest fold-open phone available, and who will take advantage of that space by multitasking with multiple open apps. It’s also the most expensive, ranging from $2099 for the 256GB model all the way up to $2799 for the 1TB model.

When folded, it’s relatively thin and light, with a 6.5” display on the front. Fold it open to reveal a spacious 8” display you can use for a single app, or up to three apps simultaneously. It also has a 200MP camera and a 5MP ultra wide lens. This thing is a behemoth, with a price to match. For those who don’t need a power-user phone, the standard Galaxy Z Fold8 will suit them just fine. It has smaller displays than the Ultra (5.5” on the outside and 7.6” when unfolded), but it’s also smaller and lighter in your pocket. It’s plenty fast, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip that powers it, and it has a 50MP dual camera system. It also comes in a more colorful array of options than the Ultra.

If having a compact phone is your priority, the Flip8 is the one for you. It’s the thinnest and lightest of the new models. Instead of folding open like a book, it flips up like an old-school flip phone – which means it’s a tiny, pocketable square when closed.

Like the two models above, it has a screen on its front when closed, but this one is an adorable 4.1” display. Flip it open, and it reveals a 6.9” display, basically like a normal non-flip phone.

One of the unique things about this form factor is that you can use it in “FlexCam” mode to take pics or video chat. Just fold it halfway open and set it on a table or desk in front of you to use this mode.
