New Spider-Man: Brand New Day Posters Released

Sony Pictures has released two new posters for upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and shown new footage during CinemaCon 2026.

The Destin Daniel Cretton-directed superhero sequel sees Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, with Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo also set to star in the movie. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote the script.

Here’s the official synopsis:

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

The posters were revealed as new footage was shown at CinemaCon 2026 (here’s a roundup of everything revealed, including a description of the new footage). According to Variety, Holland described Brand New Day as the “most emotional Spider-Man we’ve ever made. And the most grown-up.”

Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman added: “It’s as big as anything we’ve ever made, and yet it feels like nothing we’ve ever made. And it has Tom Holland — and I can say this because I’ve seen the movie — in his finest performance.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31, 2026.
