Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the gained 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:), which rose 4.71% or 3.10 points to trade at 68.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:) added 2.13% or 5.50 points to end at 263.50 and Var Energi ASA (OL:) was up 2.04% or 0.72 points to 36.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tomra Systems ASA (OL:), which fell 1.51% or 2.40 points to trade at 156.30 at the close. Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:) declined 1.45% or 16.00 points to end at 1,089.00 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:) was down 1.38% or 0.15 points to 10.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 160 to 125 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.17% or 2.37 to $77.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.60% or 2.03 to hit $80.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 6.30 to trade at $2,552.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.76, while USD/NOK rose 0.67% to 10.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.63.
