Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the fell 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the were Nel ASA (OL:), which rose 5.60% or 0.30 points to trade at 5.66 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:) added 1.52% or 2.00 points to end at 133.50 and Orkla ASA (OL:) was up 1.22% or 1.15 points to 95.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frontline Ltd (OL:), which fell 3.74% or 9.70 points to trade at 249.40 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) declined 3.28% or 4.30 points to end at 126.70 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:) was down 3.21% or 36.00 points to 1,086.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 189 to 87 and 33 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telenor ASA (OL:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.52% or 2.00 to 133.50. Shares in Orkla ASA (OL:) rose to 3-years highs; rising 1.22% or 1.15 to 95.35.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.31% or 0.23 to $73.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.16% or 0.12 to hit $77.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 6.80 to trade at $2,534.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.26% to 11.72, while USD/NOK fell 0.06% to 10.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 101.60.
