Strands is the NYT’s latest word game after the likes of Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections – and it’s great fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands hints.

I was called a PROCRASTINATOR when I was at school. It’s something I’ve always meant to address, but I’ve never gotten around to. Maybe TOMORROW.
For now, all my attention (well, half my attention) was focused on solving today’s slightly trickier-than-standard Strands.
After failing to find a game word before spotting a sizeable number of non-game words, I took a hint to get going – with SOON confirming the theme. From here it was a far-from-easy task, but I got there EVENTUALLY. I hope you had more focus.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a fully fledged member of the NYT’s games stable that has been running for a year and which can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
