NYT Strands today (game #608) – the answers

The answers to today’s Strands, game #608, are…
- DELICIOUS
- SCRUMPTIOUS
- FLAVORFUL
- DELECTABLE
- SPANGRAM: GOOD TASTE
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 hint
There were only four words and a spangram in today’s game but we had to work hard to find them; well, I did anyway!
After finding half a dozen non-game words and mistakenly thinking our task was to find words associated with good manners, I took a hint, with DELICIOUS setting me on my way.
It took me a lot of attempts at different spelling, but I eventually found SCRUMPTIOUS – a word whose most famous appearance is in the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song Truly Scrumptious – before the far easier FLAVORFUL and DELECTABLE.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Friday, October 31, game #607)
- SKULL
- FEMUR
- FIBULA
- ULNA
- RADIUS
- STERNUM
- HUMERUS
- SPANGRAM: SKELETON
